I find that my mind is constantly bringing up random things I've seen in my life. Be it creepy images, embarrassing moments, gorey scenes in a movie... anything! Yesterday, I saw a close up picture of a larvae infested female breast. The picture is said to be a digitally created picture of what it would look like. Then I saw the real picture. The fake one was even more disgusting. Even now as I type this message, I can feel my mind picturing the image inside my head! I tried to think of other things, but no matter what I try to do to distract myself, I will see a faint image of the picture inmy mind! I tried to imagine it being erased or covered up by something else, but the image will keep popping back up. I couldn't sleep until 4am yesterday because of this. When I finally fell asleep, it was because I took sleeping pills! Please help me! Anyone! I need my sleep! This week it may be the larvae picture, next week it could be something else. I need a cure to end this madness!!!

I have social anxiety with depression, but regular medication makes me feel like a robot, meaning no feelings whatsoever. I am depressed and as time goes on, I pull away from people and life all together. I barley go outside anymore. My doctor says that there isn't anything wrong with me, it's just in my head. Well no kidding, I knew that!

* What ever problems America has--she is our country and we don't need to put down our country to another country...am I right?
I guess I'm old fashioned but my philosophy is
"America.....love it or leave it"
and that is why I won't buy Dixie Chicks anything.

Any time I got out anywhere fun I seem to be anxious to get it over with and come home. I have a good time when I am out but find it hard to just be spontaneous. I have to depend on public transportion so I have to time everything by it to avoid waiting forever. On my days off I got out early and seem to be in by 1 or 2 in the afternoon with no desire to go out again. I can't even go anywhere on my work days although I don't work till late afternoon and have the whole half day free, it seems just making a run to the store exhausts me and the thought of coming home and having to go back out to work later fills me with dread. I like to be on the go but need to spend alot of time at home too so if I go someplace before going to work, I feel like my free time has gone too fast. I know other people who are out running around all day doing stuff and then go to work in the afternoon or evening but I don't seem to have the energy to do it. Am I the only one who feels like this?

I have been having a recurring dream of having moved to a different house for several decades now. Last night I dreamt that my husband bought a house without me seeing it first. It was dark, old, horribly delapidated and it lacked some of the amenities that we all take for granted. I was afraid that roaches lived in the walls. There was a big party in progress, still I was very upset and I wanted to move out right away..

I mean, isn't it all fake--the stuff you see on TV? Or, if it is real, do you have to have a really weak mind, one that is easily swayed by the power of suggestion? Has anyone out there ever really been hypnotized? If so, how, and what did it feel like?

I've tried many meds in the past for my anxiety, but their side effects made me decide to never take them on a daily basis.

Unfortunately, the next two months will be filled with much anxiety, and I will need something to calm my nerves(moving, recent death in the family, ect).

If I take one 0.5 mg tablet of Xanax daily for two months, could that lead to an addiction? Has anyone here tried Xanax for that short amount of time, without problems?

I've received approval by my doctor to take the prescription? Although, he suggested klonopin might be better. I chose Xanax, because there may be days when I don't need the medication, and Xanax can be taken on an as needed basis.

Recently, my psychiatrist told me that I have a form of ADD called an "asberger". I'm afraid if I tell someone, people will shun me because they think I'm retarded or something. I'm 11, I only have a few friends, and I don't want to lose them! Please help?

I used to be a know-it-all. Later, I learned that I didn't know it all. Now I get a kick out of showing know-it-alls that they didn't know as much as they thought they did.
