as far as getting the money together I'm not sure how to help you, but there is a site i visit from time to time called walkers.org, it is a site for ppl that suffer from various mental disorders, its basically a bunch of ppl that have problems get together and talk about them and help each other through whatever they need. they have forums as well as a chat room, if you would like any more information about it feel free to msg me with any questions you might have, or if you would just like to talk.

I know every state has different guidelines, but it's worth having your mother check with the social services/medicaid office for your county. Last year my son NEEDED to be kept in the hospital, but his father's insurance wouldn't cover it - so I went down to the social services office and filled out the forms and brought any and all documents I thought they may need so we could see if we qualified for emergency assistance with the insurance, and it turned out that we qualified - thank you dear God. Look online, check the phonebook, call the therapist and explain the situation, don't give up - you have your entire life ahead of you (and you are not a loser, as your screen name implies!). There are places out there, you just need to find them. Try a church - very often they offer free counseling. You need to be honest with your mom, so she can truly understand the need you have. The best approach? When you feel like the both of you are calm and open-minded - you'll get further. Best of luck, and my prayers go out to you.

Some areas have Community Mental Health Centers where you pay on a sliding scale based on your income. (I just looked in the phone book, and here it's listed in the white pages as "Community Mental Health Center".) Maybe you have something similar in your area.

Are you under or over 18? If you're over 18, they should go on just your income and not your mother's.

Good luck!

Bless your heart! Sounds like you need cheering up.I've been bummed out before & gone to counseling and all that- but what bothered me was that it was like paying someone to be my friend. Just think if you talked to someone like Opra Winfrey - she is just a friend who listens & she is so cheerfull & has all these life lessons she's learned she would gladly share with you.It bothers me that someone isn't helping you. Life is precious, you're special,& you should be happy & you need friends who care- even if there internet friends.... I wish you the best of luck...

you need to talk with your mom. ask her to call and talk to your original doctor (why did you stop going in the 1st place?) sometimes doctors and clinics will work with you so that you can receive help you need, or maybe your doctor can give you a referral to another who can work with you and maybe go over your case with them before he hands your case over.if not, did you know that you have right to request your medical records? sometimes getting them yourself so you can bring them with you when you go to the new doctor helps you to feel more in control. there are also some programs in places to help with medication cost, such as free samples from the doctor. one word advise if your depression is severely interfering with your being able to function is society, you should consider applying for disability benefits from the department of social security (SSD or SSI).

Contact your family doctor and explain the situation, they may be able to put you in contact with a clinic or something that could help you at a discounted rate.

Those who charge for healing are liars and crooks. Email me if you want to talk, my advice is free.
Read the bible and let Jesus heal you. If you ask he will tell you what you need to do when where and how.
Im proof of that.

You need to join the US Armed Forces. This will get your mind off your problems, feel good about yourself, and you will get to kill people.
