Do boys also bleed during their first sex? I heard there's jointed skin on the front of the penis which gets cut off during the penetration causing some bleeding. Is it true?

My best friend for 8 years has always had a problem with waking up in the mornings. This started way back around middle school or high school and still is affected to this day at age 23. Mostly, i'll go wake him up, and he gives automatic responses to my questions, even open his eyes, and talks to me for a bit, but just doesn't get up and get around and get the day started.
