And it's pretty bad. I'm abroad at the moment and don't know what to ask for - I'd like a Desinex type of product. Can some please help me and tell me what the active ingredient is in desinex (the scientific name I suppose) so I can explain to the a pharmasict what I need.

Undecylenic acid is the active ingredient in Desinex[R] cream.

almost any powder will give you temporary relief.
