This is day 4 of my migraine. My doctor prescribed Zomig doesn't help. The Excedrine migraine I usually take helps some, but only for 12 hours. Its a once a day medicine, so by evening I just want to hide in my bedroom. There is a weeklong stormfront in my area. Weather is my biggest trigger, so I know what caused it. But I can't make this go away! Usually a migraine is gone by day 2, so I'm at my wits end as to what I can do. I'm even drinking caffeine (don't normally do that), in the hope it will help for at least a few hours. Does anyone know any tricks to help? My kids and husband need me back to normal!

Every illness (effect) has cause. So what are effects for this cancer (equally true for other illnesses) -

1. Stress (mainly worry) - historically women did not do the jobs they do now
2. Lifestyle - rush, rush (stressing their hormonal balance, pumping adrenaline (for artificial fight/flight)
3. Expectation to be slim but sacrificing one's health. Thinking being fit (exercise), you will become healthy. Wrong relationship! It is only part of answer, as stimulates the lymph system (body's sewage system) and get rid of toxins, so yoga will do same thing by deep breathing. Muscle toning is ok – again – yoga will do same thing.
4. Food be eat – non-organic (accelerated farming) full with chemical poisons to kill bacteria, insect, etc. Artificial additives – again toxins, like sweeteners, MSG. Microwaving our foods.
5. Polluted environment – man made buildings – away from nature, electromagnetic (radio, electricity, microwaves) stress, chemical (soaps, detergents, deodorants, shampoo

I finished Micro, Anatomy, Physio, Nutrition, Chem, English 1A/ 1B, Algebra, Sociology, Speech, Psych, and a few others. My question is: does this qualify me for a position within the health care field? Or get me close to something? I live in the bay area and the nursing programs are so impacted that I may be waiting a long time. Do I have any options?

I was in a car wreck some 14 years ago... bits of glass eventually came out from above my left eye brow... i believe there is still a square of windscreen glass lodged in my head, sometimes it feels like it is finally going to split to reveal the glass.

Anyway i want to have it removed as there is a pronounced bump... A few years ago i asked the Doc about this, but she would not send me for an x-ray or take the matter any further. i will not attempt to remove the glass myself.. so how can i convince the doctor otherwise?

Thanks for any useful answers :-)

My Grandma (80yrs) is in a nursing home.
I went to visit her recently.
She recognized me immeadiately and introduced me to her nurses ( been 1 yr since she's seen me ( I live a long ways off)).
During the visit she kept saying the same thing over and over, like as if she had been forgetting that she allready told me that.
She repeated the same 6 minute dialog about 20 times.
I'm afraid she may be loosing her mind.
I went to her house and it smells moldy, in fact, You can see moldy looking stuff growing out between the wall and ceiling in her bedroom and kitchen.
Is it possible that mold could cause this type of symptom/behavior, and Is there any effective treatment that might help get her back to normal? (grandma is strong for an 80 year old lady).

P.S. I also have a worthless uncle (alcoholic) who has been living in that same house with her since he was born, and he thinks that he changed his older siblings diapers.
Could mold be causing his mental problem?
