She drinks vodka all day long. with crystal light and only eats one small meal aday. her legs are swelling and she refuses to seek medical help because she would be without vodka. I mean she drinks around the clock she cant even go and pick up her daughter from daycare without a drink in her hand she doesnt drive but still that is open container if the person gets stopped dont you think. so my question is ... is it ok to drink after gastric bypass?

Starting about 2 weeks ago i started to have gas, which is very uncommon for me. Then i started having constipated diarea if that makes since. Around that same time i started getting really nuasous, and sickly. I no longer have diarea but i am still constipated, and sick to my stomach all the time. I am having terrible stomach cramps that kind of feel like a period cramp. It started just on the left and on the left side of my midto lower back. Now my whole low (below the belly button) area of my stomach cramps really bad and i am still vomiting. I also have been very sensitive ot smells and everything seems to make me feel sick to my stomach. Even when i eat my stomach still feels hungry. ANyone have any ideas on what could be cuasing this?

It started with a headache, stomach cramps, diarreah, muscle aches. I would get cold one minute and hot the next. The feelings come and go and have for the past 2 days and I'm still feeling crappy.

I know that I had a problem with my digestion and was loosing weight rapidly. I saw about 6 different doctors, before anyone even did a propper examination. They each kept saying after a blood test that they can't find anything wrong... and eventually I saw a doctor who was also into alterative therapies who was the first one that really asked questions and did an old fashioned physical examination (immediate found the problem and now I'm fine).

I lost a third of my body weight in less than 3 months. I think it's amazing what modern medicine can do now, but doctors are looking far too much for the quick (pop a pill) fix. Has anyone else had problems like this?

I've had threadworms before, when I was a child. I remember getting tablets for them and my whole family took the tablets. I know I have them again. I've had them on and off for months but each episode seems to get worse. I think about getting tablets but then when I get around to it they've gone away again. I really want to get some tablets from my pharmacy but i don't want to have to tell my family as I'm embarassed.
I still live with my parents and sister, although I'm an adult. My sister has problems swallowing tablets and I'm very embarassed and don't want to tell my family that I have worms. If I take the tablets and don't tell my family, will it work? Or will I get reinfected? Is it worth just having a go of treating myself and see if it works?
I'm in the UK. Can I buy the tablets froma pharmacy without seeing my doctor? Is there a brand name of product I can ask for so I don't have to ask for "something for threadworms?"

I've been suffering the sensation of being onboard a mildly ptiching ship for three days now - I've not been drinking or drugging, before you ask - it's unnerving me as sometime the pitch becomes really strong and I feel as if I'm falling towards the ground - nothing I do seems to alleviate this. Does anyone have any sensible ideas as to what may be causing this?

I know this girl (I actually just met her a couple months ago, so I don't know her all that well) that has a 21 month old daughter that from the moment I met her, she seemed a little bit delayed compared to my 18 month old daughter. And I just found out that the little girl hasnt had any shots except for the ones she had when she was born. She missed her 1 year old shots and her 18 month old shots. Her mother says her insurance wont cover the shots and they can't afford to pay for the shots. So my question is, how bad is this for the little girl? I mean, she looks kind of sick and she isnt very active. Do you think it is because she is missing so many important shots?
