I know that I had a problem with my digestion and was loosing weight rapidly. I saw about 6 different doctors, before anyone even did a propper examination. They each kept saying after a blood test that they can't find anything wrong... and eventually I saw a doctor who was also into alterative therapies who was the first one that really asked questions and did an old fashioned physical examination (immediate found the problem and now I'm fine).

I lost a third of my body weight in less than 3 months. I think it's amazing what modern medicine can do now, but doctors are looking far too much for the quick (pop a pill) fix. Has anyone else had problems like this?

So far it is because of a so called Dr. that I now have constant and permanent damage to the lumbar section of my back. I really wish I would have listened to the one stranger that told me to never have back surgery. My dad seeks alternative meds. The only problem I do have with it is he takes 2 handfuls of herbs, vitamins, minerals, etc everyday. Not knowing if one will effect the other in a bad way. How do you know what not to mix? But yes I am in agreement some alternative medicines are better only if they are monitored.

I think the reason that more people are seeking natural remedies nowadays is that most people can't afford to go to a doctor because they have no health insurance. An herbal remedy that costs 20 bucks is a lot more manageable than a prescription that costs 50 bucks--or more.

Prescription medications work for a while, then they stop working, or they slowly destroy your insides. So after years of treatment, the medication will probably cause other complications that you didn't even have before. Every medicine has side effects.

that's why I join with Nikken. Doctors give out meds, which have side affects, then more meds to curb the side effects which give you more side effects.

Doctors do usually go for symptoms nowadays and nomore for causes. They recommend remedies and surgery, even when not necessary.

Many symptoms may be cured by so easy one-time treatments like Atlasprofilax - just nobody knows...
