went to the state fair about a week and a half ago. I was out from about 10AM to 7PM. I couldn't stand the lines so I only drak what I would guess to be about 5 cups of liquids(8 oz) the entire day of walking around outside... and it wasn't watere, it was iced tea. Since that day, I've been increasingly lethatrgic. Today I almost passed out after I got up from smoking my fisrt cigarette of the morning. (And I mean I really almost passed out. I got extremely dizzy and things started tuning black... I had to sit down right there.)

Anyways. I noticed my stomach's been upset lately and today I feel really nausous, and I don't feel like eating. Muscles in my back keep spasming and I feel really lethargic. My arms and leg are tingling even. My head hurts too, and I can't concentrate.

Could I be severely dehydrated. I thought I might be just sick or something, but then thougth back and realized I've only been drinking about 3-4 cups of liquids a day.Am I just overreacting? What do Ido

this has happened once before, i couldnt sleep and i linked it to the fact that i ahd done a very strenous workout earlier that day, more strenous than normal. Well its happening again right now and i hate it. I also attribute it to the fact that yesterday i took some caffeine pills to study for a test, so the combo isnt going great for me. My heart is racing and my chest and arms feel sore. What can i do to make this go away?

I mean like right now make it go away, right this seecond. not in the future.

What is the difference of hydrogen peroxide and isopropyl alcohol when used as antiseptic/disinfectant? What are the pros and cons of each?

Which one is more preferable to be used as a general purpose antiseptic/disinfectant at home? Or is there something else better?

Thanks.

I'm having a problem w/ my fingers swelling during the day. The only place I'm having a problem is where my wedding ring is. When I first got my ring it fit but now (a year later) my fingers are swelling so bad throughout the day I that its actually drying out that area where my ring is and also making impressions of the ring in my ring finger. What can I do to relieve this pain and dryness that causes me to scratch it that causes more pain? I've tried everything from putting vitamin e to neosporin. But it doesn't help at all. My ring still fits my finger just my fingers swell up so bad. Help!

I got burned by steam -- stupid, I know. But it hurts a lot so I put it on ice, right? Now when I look at my finger, I can see that the area that hurts the most is a blister and rest of my finger is red. I don't want an infection so I'm not gonna pop it. Is there anything else I should do, other than hold it on ice??

I thought manual compression in CPR is primarily used to keep the heart in a shockable rhythm longer to allow the arrival of defibrillator. So why does tv shows such as E.R. show doctors performing manual compression after cardiac arrest when defibrillator is readily available? What is the actual procedure used by emergency room?
