Best guess might be a migraine. I've known people who's migraines are so bad, the symptoms mimic a stroke!
Your BF should be completely and thoroughly assessed by a neurologist to rule out anything odd.
He should also be aware of what his "triggers" are (lack of sleep, certain foods, loud noises or bright lights, stress, etc). This will help the doctors determine what's going on and how to help.

Do not tell the doctor you want an MRI. Who is the doctor, you or him!? Do not go to the E.R. They are expensive and not worth it. This has been going on for a while judging from the way you state your question. If it was going to kill him, it would have happened already!
Now to answer your question. It could be a stroke. It could be a migraine. It could be a neuro disorder.
If you want a "solution" to your problem, fork out $100 bucks and go to a "doctor" who can then determine if dude needs a "MRI", "CT-Scan", etc

any way that could be pressure in your friends head causing the eye to get blury sometimes swell and the pressure could pinch a nerve in the leg
i also suffer from head achs but this is serious that is not normal if your friends eye and leg does that.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

blurry vision could be migraine. Legs feeling numb sounds scary.
It could be a mini stroke, no matter his age. Numbness is a good time to head to your closes ER.

well first you should go to the E.R. when this happens in case it is a stroke. It is probably a bad migraine, but you need to be sure. It could be dangerous.

Does he smoke pot? My best friend is a cronic pot smoker and now suffers from M.S. her symptoms were the same and progressively get worse, the first thing the specialist asked her was "do you smoke pot" hopefully thats not it, but thought I would mention it.
