When I found the bullseye I called my doctor and was treated with antibiotics right away. I took the pills for 5 weeks and thought that was that. Now, 7 months later my left elbow joint and both of my knees are in pain 24/7. I'm 47 and walked 5-10 miles on a hike. Now, I'm lucky to stand or walk 3 miles without tears in my eyes. Please what can be done to reduce the pain.

My mom, an alcoholic for over 15 years, was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver. She became diabetic two years ago and has lost massive amounts of weight, brusies extremely easy, has hair loss, and has difficulty walking as she says she often has no feeling in her feet. She decided that she does not care and is continuing to drink as much as she ever did. How long does she have left to live? I'm getting married next August and am wondering if she'll still be alive by then.

I've been with my bf for almost 3 years, I have two kids from previous marriage. He and I lived together for a year, and I moved out bc of his drinking. That was a year ago. We're still together and love each other, but his drinking is out of control. He messes up terribly (bringing home people, sometimes girls) from the bar with him. He says if I would drink with him then it wouldn't happen. I found one girl at his house on 3 separate occasions, the last time I caught her there she almost punched me. I found him in bed (underwear and shirt) with a woman that was totally naked, the other girl (I mentioned b4 was in the other room asleep) He swears nothing happened, but how am I to believe him? Friday nights are the worst (today), either something sets him off at work, or I piss him off and he is out again for another night of "fun" (torture and pain for me). Saturday and Sunday we're usually together and having fun with kids. Buut he doesn't go a day w/o drinking. Please help!

I also wear the compression stockings, which are very uncomfortable, but necessary. I have pains inside my legs and the bottom of my feet feel like I'm walking on marbles. When touched, there is nothing on the bottom of my feet. Just wondering what others are doing for treatments.

I am writing a short story at the same time as illustrating a graphic novel for a friend, and thanks to those who have already answered my bizarre and slightly grim questions!

Now I need to know, if someone were strangled from behind with a cord looped around their throat and squeezed tightly, is it likely they would die quietly?

In the scene a man is strangled thus by another man whilst watching a movie in a small private cinema, alone save for the projectionist up above in his booth (out of line of sight).

Considering the man is sat down in a tight space would he be likely to get free, this is assuming both men are of avergage strength. Also hoe much noise would he be able to make (I imagine he'd be able to kick his feet around frantically?) and hopw long, roughly, would death or at least unconsciousness take?

Thankyou!

I am writing a short story in which the protagonist needs to die quietly in their sleep. It is a male, mid/late fifties, avergage height and build (eg not overweight), non-smoker and rare drinker. No rela medical history apart from the usual odds and sods.

Can you suggest a viable, realistic cause of death? I was thinking sudden heart attack, but wasn't sure if they occur during sleep- and I'm pretty sure that the pain, no matter how brief, would wake you?

Cheers

I would like to know if there is anything i can put on the spots apart from calamine lotion as this seems to be having no effect. Also he is in a lot of pain with the ones in his mouth. Just rang doctors and she suggested try the chemist first. They are not open yet and am feeling very anxious seeing him in pain.
