Can you narrow down the area a bit? There are any number of excellent orthopedic surgeons that specialize in shoulders all ove the US.

Pick an area and use Yahoo or Google to locate the closest shoulder specialists. Then repost, asking "Does anyone know about Dr.X?"

If you're in the Cleveland area, we've got a ton of good surgeons, but you didn't specify where you are. But if you want to travel, we've got the Rock Hall too :)

I would like to respond to the person who said they are against "surgury". It's pretty much a waste of time for you to go on-line offering your advice, however misguided it may be, if you don't spell correctly. Please use the spell check next time.

Okay, I'm done. Good luck with your shoulder!

Orthopedic Surgery(including shoulder surgery) is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges orhto surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients as orhtopaedic surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS.

They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your sons surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star .

My cousin got his shoulder surgery done there and he is more than very happy with the results. He is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. She paid just 30% of the cost what he was quoted in USA and it was like a wonderful vacation for her. .hope this helps

how I shudder when I hear that so many people are having surgury. There are natural ways to heal many things. Acupuncture, massage, anti-inflammatorys, and naturopaths. Surgury is invasive, and expensive. Have you considered seeing a naturopath, or using something else?

There are too many of them, so it is practically impossible to recommend the best one. The best way to go is to contact a Center for Reconstructive Surgery nearest to your whereabouts. They should be capable of giving you the information you need.
