Well, I've been dating the same guy since the end of January. He doesn't spend a lot of time in the sun and just recently started because I love it. I've noticed, now that he has a tan, some white spots on his back. He has a lot of moles and I've been watching them for any changes. At first it was just the one, now he has three more and another one starting. It's a complete lack of pigment, all circular, no irregular shapes, they don't hurt and the largest isn't changing. It's all in an area where he just got a tatoo? Could that have something to do with it? I'm just concerned because more are forming and fairly rapidly. Any answers would be helpful. Thank you so much.

I was diagnosised nine years ago with Melinoma, but I have never had it treated. I now have eight small tumors, and one of them is on my lower neck. The tumors have never turned into the sores that I have seen, but this last year I have been feeling weak, and having problems with nausa, and low fevers. I've had the low grade fevers for about two months. Over the last five months, I have difficulty remembering how to spell simple words, and I lose days. I got more concerned this week, because I lost four days. I have never lost that many days. My husband said that I seemed normal, but I don't remember it. I stopped driving about a year ago because I would get lost and not know where I was. Sometimes I could recover within minutes. Sometimes, I would have to call some one to come get me. This post is taking me for ever because I keep having to go back and fix my mistakes.
Is this being caused by the cancer?
Oh! and if it helps, I am in my low forties age wise

She is on chemo and local agencies are not helping. Her church has helped more than they can and I have no money to help with this situation either.

My father was admitted to the hospital (last week) the day after we received medical insurance. I know medical insurance can drop you if you didn't list a previous (diagnosed) illness in the history report. We just found out last week, my father has cancer. Here's a little history: About a year and a half ago, my father lost a lot of blood in his stool. He went to the doctor and the doctor said he had hemorrhoids. With that being said, my dad went on with his life. About two months ago he started having pain in his abdomen and lost 20-30 pounds within those two months without reason. He went to the doctor again. The doctor felt his abdomen and suggested he be admitted to the hospital right away. He thought it was cancer and it was (later we found out). No one had any idea he had cancer. With all of this being said, can medical insurance drop him from his plan?

I would be glad to know how many cancer of the throat ( all kinds ) have had Hyperbaric Treatment to compliment the radiation and the chemo? If so - did you feel any different and did your side effects begin returning to 'normal' faster then expected? A lot of Doctors do not mention this treatment, and I just cannot understand why. I asked the doctors the same question and as in India the needy far outnumber the rich - they feel its too expesive to use the method and it would be out of reach of the same. I asked the doctors as to who were they to decide if one could afford it or not - their job was to at least mention it. I had 42 sittings of one hour each per day and can say without hesitation it did wonders towards my recovery.
It will be a pleasure to hear from all of you who have been through this torrid illness and have emerged winners.
