I recently had an ultrasound on the above and thankfully there was nothing serious, I have been getting pains in my lungs for the past couple of months and wondered if there was something serious like cancer, would it show up even if the hospital weren`t looking at this organ?

I AM A LUNG CANCER PATIENT OF AGE 36.NOW I AM TAKING THE TABLET TARCEVA. HOW LONG I SHOULD TAKE THIS? MY NODE HAS ALSO DISAPPEARED. I AM GETTING MORE SIDE EFFECTS DUE TO IT. I've been taking Gleevec 400 mg. since 03-01-06, have all the side effects and am almost bauld on top of my head. I think I look like I'm alot older than I am since I've been taking Gleevec. I have a brother that is a match if I ever need to have a bone marrow transplant (which I hope I don't) and most of my family doesn't care if I'm sick at all. I catch every bug around and colds easily, I wear a mask as much as I can to help prevent this. My step son and his wife just can't get it in their head that I can't babysit when their kids are sick, to them they're not sick but when they get to my house they are coughing and have a runny nose and I have it a couple of days after being around the kids. I think I'm gonna start telling them I can babysit if they give me enough money for a dr. visit and perscriptions 'cause I always end up at the dr. office after being around their kids. Is that being mean of me? Does anyone understand where I'm coming from?

I found a hard round lump right by my right ear, below it actually and its next to my neck. Its round and hard- and the doc said he is doing a cat scan on it this week. Anyone know what it could be? A cyst?

I'm 14 and have smoked for a year (I know, I know). I've had a sore throat in the evenings for about a month now. As of yesterday my lip is swollen and as of yesterday night my throat is hurting. It hurts slightly to swallow and the back of my mouth is swollen on one side. Is this cancer or am I paranoid?
