I know how you feel, but there is hope.

I am currently in the Bahamas with my Mother who has Terminal Lung Cancer. There is a clinic here that has been in operation for over 30 years. We have been here for 4 of our 8 week stay, everyday is really neat. A lot of the patients stick around in the meeting room/ waiting room to visit, and share stories and catch up. There were 40 people all talking and laughing, talking about cancer and life, the returning patients talk about how bad their cancer was 4, 8, 10 even 18 years ago when they started coming to the clinic, the cancer that has since disappeared. There is nothing dangerous or foreign to the treatment, just building up your immune system in a very effective manner. If you want to know more contact me or go to www.immunemedicine.com I cannot tell you how impressed I am with what I have seen and how my Mother has already improved. I know one man who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, he skipped all US, conventional (poisonous, dangerous) options and went to the Bahamas and is doing great now. Another man who has been coming here for 18 years that had prostate cancer. People with just about every type of cancer. But, they are honest here, you send them your medical information and they will tell you whether they believe they can help you or not, and they will send you home if they don't think you are benefiting.

My mom has shown drastic improvements and is feeling so much better. and we are in the Bahamas so we are having a good Mother-Daughter vacation.

I have also done a lot of research on the Cesium Chloride/DMSO treatment and think that it has merit and you can do it at home.

The clinic here believes that a supplement/liquid called VIBE works really well in addition to other treatments, I am going to look in to that some more.

US doctors push chemo and radiation, but when you look at the statistics and side effects it is not a good option for most people. My Mom had both before we came here and now that I know more about them and have researched them I feel horrible that I let her go through them. She was lucky (so far) the only long term side effect she has shown is short term memory loss.

The stories I have heard from the other patients here about how they were treated by US medicine astound me. One lady went home to have a shunt put in her liver so she would be ok to come here, but they refused to put it in unless she agreed to do chemotherapy, is that what our country is about? Denying helpful procedures unless we agree to dangerous, toxic ones? The drug companies run US medicine at least when it comes to cancer treatment and it is sad. Most doctors will tell you not to try alternative medicine and some will refuse to even see you again if you do. To some degree they are not to blame, they have not been taught anything about it other than that it is evil and wrong and they would be rejected by their colleagues if they suggested alternatives.

I would also like to tell you about another lady staying at the house we are staying at, she is 86 years old and has breast cancer as well. She arrived at the clinic the same day we did and is doing very well. Her immune system continues to improve and she gained 2 pounds since last week. She is absolutely thrilled with this treatment and knows that it is helping her.

Please whatever you do, research first.

One very helpful website is www.cancertutor.com

Good luck!!

First I'd like to send my sympathy and prayers with you and your mother during these times. Your mother has lived a very long life. At her age her body and immune system aren't as strong to handle all the poisons of chemo. I hated having to see my grandmother go through that at the age of 75. After final contemplation, my grandfather decided to stop the treatment and let her die peacefully. The chemo was posioning her and making her ill and she stayed on morphine constantly to sooth the pain. He didn't want to remember her like that.
Only God can tell when your mother's time will come. With the advancement in medicine today, your mother could have a masectimy and have a full recovery, which I pray for both of your sakes. May Gob bless you and your mother.

I can give you information on this based on CA legislation, I'm not sure on TX. If your mom had insurance from her old employer, the insurance company will send her a letter stating that she was covered from X-date - X-date. She can come onto your dad's plan within 30 days of losing her old insurance with no pre-existing limitations applied. There is a time limit on this (she cannot be without insurance for a specific time - this is determined by state) If your dad is at a big company, he needs to talk to the Human Resources department who will be able to give him all of the information he needs to make sure your mom is being taken care of. good luck and I hope everything works out for your family.

I have to say... WOW! She is 82? She is absolutely amazing. You need to do your research. Talk to many doctors and get their opinions. Find out what your options are and then do more research. You need to find out the best options for an 82 year old woman.

Good luck to you and your mother.

In my opinion I would not suggest or recommend conventional treatments, there are alternative approaches that can be taken. Cancer can accrue in the body when nutritionally (malnutrition is the lack of proper Nutrition / Vitamins / Minerals ; inadequate or unbalanced nutrition) the body is not in a condition to defend it's self against free radicals and other cancer causing agents. A nutritionally deficient body that has an acidic PH could support the growth and development of cancers. The body's PH balance is a very important factor to be considered, you want to have more of an alkaline PH, to have a body that is to acidic can be very dangerous. Here is some information for you about health.I suggest a change in diet, drink a lot of clean bottled water (my guess is that this person drinks coffee or soda, these things need to be taken out of the diet for sure and smoking as well) include MINERALS (the sports one is flavored or else i think that there are others that are flavored) AND EFA dietary supplements from a company called American Longevity, phone#1-800-982-3189 2400 Boswell Road, chula vista, California 91914 be careful about the amount of the mineral supplement do not exceed more then one tablespoon a day,Vitamins, the vitamin product that i use is called E 7 (essential seven.) the telephone number is 1(888) 737-7307 i would take only one half of one scoop a day . If you do some study about what exactly it is that all of these different vitamins and minerals PURPOSE INSIDE OUR BODY'S is you will probably figure out that they can help to elevate ALMOST all symptoms of ill health, there is a audio tape about minerals called "dead doctors don't lie" call 1800-982-3189 to order.

http://www.mannatech.com get a DVD from manna-tech called "OUTSIDE THE BOX" BY JEFF ALLEN this DVD will explain to you a lot of information about health and give some very good advice about cancer.

my hope is that you are a saved person, the bible says "we are loved by god with an everlasting love"(Jeremiah 5:8), you can go to http://www.bellevue.org and you can watch sermons live if you want p.s. HOPE I HELPED

I am sorry to hear that she has been unwell, and chemotherapy must have been grueling for her, especially when after it your told that it hasn't worked.
How is she feeling? What does she want? That is whats important now. If she is still hopeful then so should you. If she is not then you should just be there for her and be strong. Spent as much time with her as possible and tell her you love her. Make sure she is comfortable and pain-free. I will pray for her and you.

My dog is now nearly sixteen, in human age as old as your mom. She had breast cancer at 12 and a half, and the vet did not expect her to live longer than 3-6 months. I healed her with food and natural remedies. My dog is now fitter and healthier than other dogs her age that never had any cancer. God can heal cancer.

Whatever you do, for the love of Christ, ignore any quack bullshit about natural means of treatment. PLEASE!! I cannot stress this enough: chemo and radiation theropy, or surgery are the ONLY ways to cure cancer. The ONLY ways to cure cancer.
