Write it in your own words!!

Cancer deaths have declined in the U.S. for the second year in a row, suggesting that decades of research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease are paying off.

A study by the American Cancer Society, released Wednesday, found that at least 3,000 fewer people died of cancer in 2004 than in 2003, a decrease that continues despite a population that's growing in numbers and in age.

And for doobble poins go to la time heath and look for "Cancer deaths fall for 2nd year" And write that in you own words !

Thank you that way you could get a lot of point please i will pick you !!!!! I promise

I had been getting headaches frequently but only on one side of my head. I had my wisdom teeth removed and the headaches drastically reduced. Now I have a strange feeling in one side of my head. It feels like a bruise on my scalp. I also get headaches in the same spot but only once or twice a month. My ear aches sometimes and my throat as well. And to top it off, today I have tingling sensations in my hands and feet. I have been under alot of stress lately so do you think it is stress or do I have a brain tumor? Anyone have similar symptoms?

I had 2 PSA tests, the second was the highest @ 9.4. The urologist put me on Cipro and retested 6 weeks later. The PSA went down to 3.2, but the Free PSA is at 10%, not good. The lowering of the psa and the low free psa test seem to be contradictory. Does this seem right and what might it mean? I am scheduled for an ultrasound and a biopsy now.

I believe that cancer is the next step in evolution, it weeds out the weak. Those who are strong enough are able to fight it off before it even happens. Those that are weak die, it's all natural selection. Do you agree or disagree?

I have these 2 tiny lumps in my right breast like the size of a pea. I have had them for 2 years know they came up after my son was 3 months old, and I did not breastfeed him. They are tender to the touch and are just painful especially when I am on my period. I have had them checked many times and they have not grown any. I have not had any test done on them. I forgot what the doc said they most likely are. I think some kind of cyst or benign growth, but the doc said I could have them removed if they bother me. I dont know what to do. Has anyone else had this? The doc said they would most likely be there until I hit my 40s and I am 22 now. I just dont know if I should worry about them being a hazard to me.

I'm writing a novel and in part of it, someone dies of a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. Would it be possible for someone with this kind of tumor, with only a few days to live, to have a conversation or even be aware of their surroundings? I wrote a part where they're talking to one of the other characters, but then it occured to me that it might not be realistic.

I recently went through Radiation therapy (2 yrs ago) for colo-rectal cancer.
Pre-surgury, and the tumor was removed. Besides all the other problems and complications; I have recently been in agonizing pain in my hip. Exactly where my radiation tatoo is located. Has the hip bone been weakened, and will I continue to have problems post radiation with the bones in the radiation field?

My close friend has cancer of the liver and pancrease, shes been ill for a long time and has lost 3 stone - she was small anyway!, I asked on here a few months ago about it and alot of people said these two cancers are bad news, and i checked the net and all the websites also said this

Basically my friend went to the hospital last week to find out whts tretment she will need and they have told here the tumors are very rare and very slow gorowng and that she doesnt need any treatment, although they will keep an eye on her. they have told her to carry on and not think of it.

Does this make sence to anyone, cause im confused!!

I have been really upset lately. All my friends around me are getting very sick. One has diabetes, one has kidney cancer, one has a cancerous tumer on her side, and my best friends has to have sergery in his legs because his muscles are weak, one can't have sweets anymore, and so on. Even my mom needs sergery on her leg because she has a tumor on the back of her knee. I really don't think there is anything i can do... what could i say to make them all feel better? i don't know what would happen if they all died... they are all my close friends... aceept for my mom. she's different... i don't want her to die because she's my mom and i love her. Please, what could i say to them? there's no way i could tell tham that i know what their all going through, because i don't.

My wife begins an 8 treatment Chemo regimen soon and I was wondering when the drugs will really start kicking her ***. Hair falling out, etc. I know it affects everyone differently. I want to be as supportive as possible.
