Is this the type of cancer that spreads? Is it lethal?

I think the primary group is 26-45 year olds, and it will spread if you don;t take care of it. It will metastisize into your other organs and lymph nodes. BUt I think it can be caught at early stages so it is kinda "slow-growing" in the cervical area.

I have a different type of cancer cancer but my roommate at M.D. Anderson had cervical cancer. She was 21, and the cancer did spread, oddly enough to her wrists. She only had a 40% chance of surviving, but with chemotherapy and a good team of doctors she is currently fighting it and doing a lot better better.

So yes it can spread, and yes it can be lethal. Not sure of the age groups..you can read up on it here..webmd is awesome
