all of my friends?

I have been really upset lately. All my friends around me are getting very sick. One has diabetes, one has kidney cancer, one has a cancerous tumer on her side, and my best friends has to have sergery in his legs because his muscles are weak, one can't have sweets anymore, and so on. Even my mom needs sergery on her leg because she has a tumor on the back of her knee. I really don't think there is anything i can do... what could i say to make them all feel better? i don't know what would happen if they all died... they are all my close friends... aceept for my mom. she's different... i don't want her to die because she's my mom and i love her. Please, what could i say to them? there's no way i could tell tham that i know what their all going through, because i don't.

Wow, it sounds like there's something toxic in the enviroment where you live.

As a cancer survivor I can tell you just to be there for them. People tend to stay away from you when you are very sick and unless you are contagious that makes it worse because then all you do is dwell on your illness.

Let them know you are there. It really is a wonderful help.

Wow, that's a heavy load on your heart, I'm sure. Let each one know they're always on your mind and in your heart. With so many struggling - do they all know each other? Start up a mini group night - just to have fun, talk if they need to, etc. Watch movies or videos, or let tv drone in the background while you all get together. I've had people I love in my life battle some major illnesses (not all together like you have now), but they seemed most comforted by someone who'd just be there, ready to lend a hand or to just listen to them.
