Been watching a bit too much detox tv and thinking of giving this a go. Apparently it makes your skin lovely! Does it hurt? Is it horrible? Am I mad for even considering it?

i just have to ask this, and i am not asking it to put my opinion on anyone else, or to look down on anyone, but i just have to know, for my own curiousity..
why, in this day and age of communication and information, would a young beautiful person, knowingly put a substance in your bodies that is a known cancer causing agent?
i grew up in the 70's and god knows what we did to ourselves, cause i sure ain't tellin..but, we figured it out, that although it was fun, it wasnt worth the possiblity of dying for. or putting people we love in a situation where they would slowly watch us die in pain for. at least some of us did....
when the cigarette was promoted, back in the days of my parents, there was no known danger to your health..it was cool, with no side effects.
wrong...
why do you continue, what would it take, nothing barred, to get you to stop?
it truely breaks my heart..i watched my mom die of lung cancer, she just couldnt stop...
serious answers sure would be appreciated..

My husband has been taking L-Lysine for the last few days and has had pain in his knees. worse in the knee that he had surgery on 25 years ago. It's also rainy weather. If the weather is causing the pain, it will be the first time ever. Could it be the L-Lysine?

I have two cousins, one in med-school, and one at UCSD right now. both of them take in weed occasionaly orally (cookies, vaporization). they prolly do it once a month or every 2 months. they do it to relax from the stress. they never have possession of it, but mainly just have some with their friends. I know that they will never try anything harder than that like crack cuz there smarter than that. Shud i be worried that they might become addicted.

ive had migrans since i was like 11 i am now 21 other than the medicin that my doctors over the years gave me which really didnt help all that much i was wondering if anyone had any like with massage therapy i hear it was affective for some
