In the summertime, my allergies (to pollen, dust, and other such allergens) come out full force, and just recently, I suffered a bad cold stemming from it. I would LOVE some feedback on possible natural remedies to treat my allergies. Thanks!

I see people wearing copper bangles who claim it helps variously with their arthritis, blood pressure or who knows else what I've forgot.

Other than causing a weird blue stain around the wrist do these bangles have any legitimate medical benefit?

I have had it for about 8 years and it is getting so much worse now I have tried all the medicines that the docs. have to offer and alot of other treatment like the zinc soap and the head and shoulders thing. Do any of you have this and if so have you found anything to succesfully diminish the appearance. Help.

I have a tea called Pasak Bumi or Tongkat Ali which is made from indonesian tree root. It effects hormones and boosts testosterone in males up to 400% by scientific study, but It usually makes you very moody, more easily angered, but in a natural state perphaps depressed, similarly to the effect of those who go onto steroids and kill themselves of the depression induced by the hormone imbalance. No matter what my state though, controversly happy or sad, I always feel most pleasant and content after a minimal amount ( a few minutes, perphaps 3 to 5 and up) of deep breathing, concentrating on my breath. Has anyone else experiences these profound effects on the human psyche?

Hi, I'm looking for a good old-fashioned cough syrup. I know that the ingredients are things like hot whiskey, lemon, honey, etc. but I don't know how to mix and if I'm forgetting some other beneficial things. Would welcome any tried and true homegrown recipes. Thanks!
