Is the sims 2 triplet/quadruplet hack bad? Has it done anything to anyones computer?

Before I play a good FPS on my computer, I have to reboot, or otherwise my frames per second drop dramastically. This only happens with games like BF2 and Counter-Strike: Source. Are these games big resource hogs? I have the ATi x700 PRO, 256MB.

i recently got a new computer and i wanted to play the sims on it. I already had the cds to download and play but i lost the case they came in. it says to enter the verification code of my game but that was on the case i lost. is there any way i can play or will i have to buy a new one?

There was a game on Ebaums World a while ago with you playing as a boy that gets taken to a school somewhere in Japan and you try and win dates with a girl and when you go on the dates you get a piece of a puzzle and you win money to take the girl on the date by drinking beer and racing her ex-boyfriend in swimming. You buy her things like necklaces and flowers and bears. Do you know what this game is? Please help me out.

OK, this is actually really pathetic, but I can't buy anything from Vesta's shop! I follow the hours and the days, and I talk to Vesta, but no luck! On 'A Wonderful Life' it's so much easier =/

Whenever I press a button on my wii remote the 4 lights at the bottom start blinking and keep blinking for about 5-10 sec. Also my mouse doesn't show on my TV screen for the wii so I can't do anything. I tried turning the wii off and on but it didn't work. I tried turning my remote off and on but it just blinked and I tried re-syncing the remote but it just started blinking again! HELP!
