Is the sims 2 triplet/quadruplet hack bad? Has it done anything to anyones computer?

Probably. I prefer to space them out a bit, as the house hold is chaotic with three or more babies.

I would say that would all depend on who did the hack. If it is from a trusted source and one who has a rep for doing good hacks then you should be fine. I didn't even know there was a triplet/quadruplet hack. I visit many global modification sites and haven't come across this one.

I'm assuming you are talking about the hack by twojeffs on More Awesome Than You! I use it in my game and it works fine. I've never had any problems with it. You need to make sure that you read the readme file before putting it in your game because there are several hacks and mods that are not compatible with it.
