Harvest Moon DS Question!?

OK, this is actually really pathetic, but I can't buy anything from Vesta's shop! I follow the hours and the days, and I talk to Vesta, but no luck! On 'A Wonderful Life' it's so much easier =/

So basically, how do you buy things from Vesta?

You have to wait till 5 P.M. on the game. Then you can go into the storage barn (I don't know what it is, but it's left of their house) and buy stuff from her. She'll be behind the counter so you'll know she has opened her shop.
