How to customize your kit in Battlefield 2142?

I have and I play Battlefield 2142,but I don't know how to customize your kit,when i press on customize kit I can't put nothing to my kit.Please HELP

Well, first of all, you do have the first part right by pressing Enter in-game to open kit selection and then pressing "Customize". Now, if you don't have any unlocks (Rank up to get those if you didn't know =P), there isn't any point to customize since you don't have anything to customize with. If you do have unlocks, all you have to do is drag them from the box they are in, and place them into either one of the two empty squares, or if your unlock is a weapon, then replace the old weapon with that one, again by draging it in.

Now, if you want a Squad Leader unlock, drag it to the lonely square on top. If you chose a player unlock, or a unlock on the 2nd row of the Unlock board, don't worry about it, it should already be selected for you, as you can have up to 7 of them at once. The only thing about those, is that you can't remove them. But they are very useful, so don't worry.
