As a kid we ordered everything they had !!
We lived near a 7-11 in the city and most kids would just drop the comics after reading them . Boy do I remember envelopes stuffed with a couple hundred Bazooka Joe comics to redeem for gifts .
The magic kit.
The exploding battleship .

I'm making a teddy bear for my nephew, but I'm not the best sewer in the world and I'm stumped. What does "dart" mean? A simple explanation for a total beginner would be wonderful. Or an easier guide for teddy making then the one I have.

I have a rather large picture...I could size it down to a 5 x 7. There are about 7 people in it and i want to be able to see their faces pretty clearly. I need a patch like one that goes on girl scout vests...But I'm putting it on a pillow. Would an iron on work better? Any ideas? Help me out : )

you know paper snow flakes right? well a while back i saw paper snowflake animals, same concept as snowflakes but when you unfold the paper it comes out as an animal in a pattern. well my question is: is there a certain name for this? where can i find patterns on the internet that i can print out? im having the hardest time getting results. so any help is much appreciated thanx :)

I'm wondering what's the best way to make a custom pool raft/float. I've done some research and a lot of sites talk about vinyl welding, but I'm not sure what the correct process is. I would like the float to be able to support one person. Floats have stitching, welds, separate air pockets and I would like to be able to use those ideas with my own project. Thanks for any help!

I design and make a lot of ladies wear to order or custome orders. The thing is i lost my UK size chart and need to find a copy of 1 on line.Does anyone know of a website? I need the chart set out to similar set up as below in inches.

As a gift for a friend of mine I was going to paint a glass beer pitcher for her to use as the house cup at parties. (It's more of a joke than anything because that pitcher is heavy)

The material is just the cheap red heart type, but i was making a sweate for my son and i am almost finished when this happened. I already sprayed it with spray and wash but I don't know weather to finish it or rip it back or what.

I am putting together a dress for my daughter, and i've come to the part where i have to sew shoulder seams together from the front and back parts of dress. The instructions are as follows "ease in at shoulder seam". I'm completely baffled, what does this mean.
