I have an old Singer right now. A little tempermental with the tension, but too slow and it doesn't sew knits. I do mostly doll and baby/children's clothes, but I'm limited in that I don't have a stretch stitch. That's what the serger would be for. Unless there's a reliable "normal" machine that also does knits. I also quilt, so I need a machine that will do regular sewing. A store will try to sell me what is good for them to sell me, and celebrity endorsements are related to what they're paid to sell also, so I thought I'd try people who actually use the machines. Can anyone help?

I am using the Selection and Vinter's reserve wine kits, and I would like to elevate my alcohol levels, which typically come out at about 10.5-12%, to 14-15%. Is there an easy way to do this, without harming the character of the wine? Can I just add sugar or corn sugar?

Buttons like those Smileys. For business in the Philippines. If you are selling a machine, or know of anyone who does, you can also send me a note. Thanks!

I recently bought a .177 caliber remington airrifle and it works ok at shooting squirrels and birds but it takes atleast 2 shots to kill a chipmunk and atleast 3 to kill a squirrel. I know i'm not shooting it on the wrong places because I shot a squirrel i in the chest a few times and it was still alive. Then I shot a bird and it acted dead but when I went up to it, it just walked away. Couldn't fly though. I was doing research and someone said "I switched to a .22 caliber pellet gun because it is better to hunt with." Should I switch to a .22 caliber pellet gun? Will it really make a difference?
