Hello,I'm interested in learning how to play the guitar.I was wondering what brand i should get, thats not too expensive and very easy and a good guitar to learn with.Do most people learn how to play the acoustic before the electric,or are they the same? Also are there any good dvd's that teach you how to play the guitar?

Okay.... go to a local music store and have someone advise you.

If you buy the ESTEBAN guitar... it comes with 2 DVDs.

Acoustic and electric are very similar -- if you know how to play one, you can play the other -- so you can start with either one. Although I would recommend starting with an acoustic guitar, as they are better for helping you to develop finger strength and for helping you gain a better sense of rhythm. Also, with an electric guitar, you'll need to buy an amplifier as well, so it could conceivably cost more.

I don't know about DVDs, but try checking out http://www.actoguitar.com it's a site with free video guitar lessons designed specifically for beginners.
