I would like to try and make this scarf that I found at Hot Topic:
http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/store/product_zoom_display.jsp?PRODUCT<>prd_id=845524442165965&FOLDER<>folder_id=2534374302028592&bmUID=1194396165891
Product page if picture won't work - http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/store/product.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302028592&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442165965&bmUID=1194396065744
Sorry it's not the greatest picture, but it basically looks like a round (not flat) black knitted scarf (I don't think it has any knitted patterns) with this gauzy white fabric around it. I know how to knit, but would this be something a complete beginner could do?

-How should I go about knitting the scarf?
-It has fringe on the ends...how would I do that?
-What kind of fabric should I use for the white? It says it has a "white nylon overlay" on the product page.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated, but I'm not too familiar with knitting terms. :)

Years ago, nobody cared if you clean coins or not. It just didnt matter. Then the fad came along where you just *had* to clean coins as a coin shop or collector. Then due to some idiots using wire brushes, and acids to deface/clean the coins. Now its become taboo to clean coins. Ive heard some cases where a coin shop almost gets boycotted just for mentioning those two words in the same sentance.

So far I have stuck to using a cotton cloth and distilled water to remove loose debris such as basic mud and in some stupid cases, bubble gum. But I am wanting to know if there is a safe way to get slightly more aggressive. A couple of the local coin shops suggested jewerly cleaning kits such as the "sonic bath" used to clean gold jewlery. Some others suggested something like glass cleaner such as windex.

I would like to know if there are any educated suggestions out there aside from these guesses I get from local people.

A Munchkin with a light appetite could not finish his Rainbow Melt Pizza. In fact, he could only eat exactly half of it.

If the diameter of the pizza was 50cm, and the half-pizza was a perfect semicircle, what is the area of the smallest square box, in square centimetres, that could contain the half pizza?

I took a beading class a little while ago, and I made a few cute bracelets and necklaces. Recently, though, I don't have any good ideas.

I want to start by making things I see online and in magazines, but my husband says this is just copying and not a good way of sparking my creative side.

What do you think?

In america nowadays, people love to do things as a passtime, if it's playing cards or rolling dice or just eating a good meal, a casino provides all these benefits, it also provides great jobs and meeting people, and supposedly it makes money for the government so taxes can stay the same and not go up or go up as fast as they would without the casino in town, but i think the cost is the guy or gal that never had a gambling problem developing a gambling problem, gambling is an ugly monster related to bad drugs and bad sex....i really think it's a three headed monster that kills most people that are not aware of the dangers these things can do to people, i've been to atlantic city 2 years ago and saw a homeless man ranting how all the drugs, sex, gambling.....ruined his whole entire life, he's an old man now with no family and no love from others, why can't our government help those kind of people out more, cause aa and ga and sex addicts really ain't helping, a church seems ok to me

It sucks to play a boxing game and hear them mention a product or 2 every break in action. Or during a loading screen I have to see a company's logo. Only in a couple instances I wouldn't mind seeing an ad or 2. The 1st being in the flow of a game like a bilboard while driving thru a city or using the item to customize your character or vehicle. The 2nd, and this is a little more obvious, would be if the game was cheaper! Want to bombard me with products and ads, sure no problem, just knock off $10-15 off the price. Do you guys agree or disagree?

Hi.

Over two months ago, I bought a RuneScape account for $200 on craigslist.org. Over a few e-mails and telephone calls, he met up at my place and we traded.

He told me I had a two-week warranty if anything goes wrong or if I get hacked.

Now [two months later], my account is hacked and I'm assuming it's him who took it back.

I only have his cell phone, home phone, and email.
Do I have a right to sue?

Thanks,
Kevin.

My mom found the perfect gift for my aunt but She can't find it.

The way she described it is:

It's a frame with nails sticking out of it.

The nails form a pattern like a duck or a boat.

You use different colored threads (possibly yarn??) and loop it through or around the nails.

The finished product is a colorful (weaved???) picture of the duck, ship, boat etc.

if you know what is is please post the name if you've seen it in a store please post the store anything to find it.
