My mom found the perfect gift for my aunt but She can't find it.

The way she described it is:

It's a frame with nails sticking out of it.

The nails form a pattern like a duck or a boat.

You use different colored threads (possibly yarn??) and loop it through or around the nails.

The finished product is a colorful (weaved???) picture of the duck, ship, boat etc.

if you know what is is please post the name if you've seen it in a store please post the store anything to find it.

It is called String Art. Put that in your browser and see some examples, maybe pick up some sales sites. You can also buy the patterns, lay a copy on a piece of wood and put the nails through it and do one patten in a lot of colors or enlarge the paper pattern on a copier and make some bigger art with them - it is an old craft and a cool one.

It's called string-art, but I haven't seen it (or done it) in years. You can make your own, though--most of the ones I did were geometric patterns, kind of like a spirograph. Use a square piece of board (usually particle board or plywood) to put the design on. Cover it with fabric, like felt. Take a piece of paper and draw out the pattern of how you want to the nails to be, place the pattern over the board, and hammer the nails into the points on the pattern. Then tie the first color string you want to use to the head of your first nail and wind it around the strings however you want the design to be (the further distance between the nails you go, the bigger the pattern will appear. You can add colors on top of each other, and even use more than one geometric pattern, to get different effects.

I'd be surprised if you couldn't find a book on it at a second hand shop. I have about three on my bookshelf. You ought to make it yourself rather than buy it, it'll cost a fraction of the price.
