Is the Sims 2 Castaway an add on?

No; in fact, it hasn't been released on PC yet. (It will be next year, as a Sims Stories edition, but it will not require The Sims 2 to play.)

Castaway is like Life Stories and Pet Stories, they aren't with the expansion pack, i think that the latest add on is Bon Voyage.

No. It is it's own game not connected with the sims 2 game itself, But it is made by ea games
