The 80 gig PS3 is 499.99 currently and the 40 gig PS3 is 399.99. Does anybody know of or has heard of another price drop before Christmas of 2007?

The 80GB PS3's price dropped just about a month ago and the 40GB PS3 is $399. In my opinion the 80GB PS3's price is is a steal considering it's just $499 and I paid $685 for my 60GB PS3 back in December.
Sony is not going to drop the price again until maybe another year or so I think. Now is the best time to buy a PS3.

I doubt that there will be another price drop, although you never know. Sony might surprise us, just like they said they "wanted to win Christmas 2007".
But for now, it's highly doubtful

I would watch the black friday ads.I did notice that a store had dropped the price for that day.(cant remember which one)because i sign up for all the black friday(day after thanksgiving) ads i can find on the net.it wasnt something i was buying.
