I have heard Xbox Live is absolutely amazing. But is the speed of PS3 Online as fast as Xbox Live? Give details please. Thanks.

The "speed" of online gaming depends on your connection. It has nothing to do with they system. What does have to do with the system is it's infrastructure. X-Box Live is a proven system that has been around since the original X-Box. It is "absolutely amazing." Not only for the ease of playing online, but for the titles available, friend lists, download options, and it's overall simple interface. Sony's Online service is in it's baby stages. There are problems here and there, and it is missing features that most who have played Live have come to expect as standard. PS3's online service is also experiencing several delays in features, and starting BETA testing after the previously announced release date. However, if you enjoy the PS3 console, give it time because I am sure that Sony knows if they plan on competing that they are going to have to work out the bugs.

So, as of this right now and most likely far into next year, X-Box Live is the most reliable. You do have to pay for it (Sony's is free, for now), but you get what you pay for.

The PS3's online speed is great as long as you have a good connection. Xbox 360 owners say that Xbox Live is "a better online gaming experience", but that's bullcrap because both systems have online play and plus the PS3's gameplay is free.

Plus, Sony is updating the Playstation Network all the time with new content, so the Playstation Network is getting better and better every day. Also, with the PS3 you can surf the web with the web browser, and the PS3's web browser is fast as long as you have a good connection.
