After a long day at school or work, the last thing I want to do is wave my arms around like a crazy man. I like the concept, and I applaud Nintendo for trying something new, but I think the appeal will wear off or maybe the fan base is smaller. Ok, I know that it takes "X" number of "Y" evo crystals to make an ID evolve to a new form. My question is, can I use a combination of crystals to make it evolve?

For example, If an ID needs 40 sword or axe crystals, will 20 sword crystals and 20 axe crystals do the job?
