It depends on whether or not you're playing DN passing. If you are, you can't Double Nil until you are 200 or more points behind. If you're not playing passing, you can click double nil for any hand. Beware though, most serious spades players find a double nil to be a cop out as it takes more luck than skill to pull one off.

Blind DN is only available before you place a bid. It is very risky and usually leads to pissing off your partner. Don't do it unless you really think you might have a chance... NEVER DO IT IF YOU BID 1ST!

DN Passing makes it a lot easier to get your nil, but is only allowed once you are down by 200 points. BE CAREFUL! A lot of people are idiots and do it out of desperation when the best strategy is to cause the other players to overbid or bag out. I have even purposely faltered on a DN just to set the other team so they wouldn't win.. my best comeback was from an almost 500 point defecit!

when you are 200 pts behind just click on dn=doublenil
