Yes, Halo 3 will be the most UBER game ever! If you look back on Bungie's old stuff, there was Marathon 1-3, and Myth 1-3. Bungie makes games in trilogies. They announced last year that they're working on an MMOFPS (Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter) based on Halo. So, that's what they're gonna do next.

*sigh* how come so many people ask this question... I would have to say that the answer would be probably not because remember when Bungie was making Halo 2 everybody was thinking the same thing but at the end were largely dissapointed yes I know the graphics are better and the trailer looks badass but that is not the guarantee of a good game to answer the second question Bungie has stated that Halo 3 will end the story presented by the first game but also stated that there is a possibility of more Halo games that dont go with the Halo trilogy story
