We bought an 18 lb. turkey for Christmas today, the package said "fresh" & it hadn't been frozen yet. This is my first year doing a Christmas turkey, so I am scared that if I freeze it before then, it won't thaw in time (being I have no clue how thawing times work with turkeys!) The package says "sell OR freeze by December 28, 2008" Will it be okay just leaving it in the refridgerator until Christmas Eve morning? (Which is when we'll start marinating it?) Or do I need to freeze it? I'm not trying to get the whole family sick here LOL! There is a 1-800 number on the package (Honeysuckle Farms) but I sat on hold a lot longer than I had wanted to earlier, & ended up hanging up hoping to get a faster response here. Any help is appreciated! THANKS!

Pardon my being direct, but I'll find myself burping up the hard boiled eggs, but not other types. Could it have something to do with the molecular structure of the different types of eggs? My partner cannot eat any type of egg as she cannot digest them. However, she'll be fine if she eats something that was made with an egg in it, like a cake, for example. Perhaps that is just a question of quantity? Just curious...

Does sunscreen tan your skin? My friends tell me that I would get tanner from putting on sunscreen than if I don't. What's sunscreen for anyway if it doesn't prevent you from getting darker..

I was devouring a tube of Pringles last night and was wondering

How do they make them so perfectly circular?

I ask this because in a normal pack of crisps they are odd shaped-no perfect sizes or shapes. They are random.

So why are Pringles so perfectly made

(I would have thought that there is a hell of a lot of waste)

Seems to be a few fun askers & answerers on here this morning, so I offer up this:
I am a lover of cheese. It is by far my favourite kind of food; soft, hard, blue, mild, strong...you name it, I love it. But I can't for the live of me recall ever coming across a food that cheese doesn't go well with. The closest I can come is chocolate, but even then I don't think it's unedible; it's just two nice flavours at the same time, neither complimenting nor ruining each other.
So, can any of you name me a food that cheese (of any kind) does not go well with at all?

if you cook it for an hour at 350, it should kill anything in it, so why does it still hurt you?
