Navel oranges have a "navel" or flowered opening on the bottom kinda like a zipper to open the fruit with.

MOST of them are "innies". (as opposed to "outties")

Navel oranges are seedless oranges. The end that isn't the stem end has a little navel-looking thing on it. The navel has something to do with why the oranges are seedless.

Yes, some have innies and some have outies, the good news is they don't gather belly button lint and are delicious to eat....!
