Pardon my being direct, but I'll find myself burping up the hard boiled eggs, but not other types. Could it have something to do with the molecular structure of the different types of eggs? My partner cannot eat any type of egg as she cannot digest them. However, she'll be fine if she eats something that was made with an egg in it, like a cake, for example. Perhaps that is just a question of quantity? Just curious...

Persons digestive systems work differently so beyond you and your partner what other evidence do you have that this is so? I have no problem with boiled eggs. Cucumbers are a different matter.

It probably is the molecular structure. Boiled eggs are denser and contain less liquid, so maybe that's a factor.
