stovetop... my older brother (believe it or not) taught me a trick to get the most popped kernals from stove top..
you put just enough oil in the pan to coat the entire bottom, but not too much.. then cover the bottom with a layer of kernels, trying to not get more than 1 layer flat... cover and turn up to high... when you hear the first kernel pop.. remove from heat (leave heat on) and count to 50.. then put the pot back on the heat and shaking it back and forth covered till you hear the popping slowing down to no more than 1 pop per second.. they are just about finished.. remove from heat, leave covered another min.. then when you remove the lid.. 99/9% of the kernels are popped this way..

Stovetop one hundred% and right here is why: a million. Microwaved continuously has synthetic nasty butter or flavors on it that style horrid. 2. Airpop would not enable salt/parma cheese/nutritional yeast persist with it except you butter it (which i don't % to do). So stovetop regulations. It takes extra capacity considering the fact which you're able to shop the burner on the final temp and you're able to shake it. Like maximum issues - in case you spend a splash time, the outcomes would be extra desirable.

Neither, but if I have to eat it give me stovetop. First, the microwave stuff smells like it's rancid. Secondly there's some very nasty chemicals that go into microwave popcorn, and I really rather not eat any more nasty chemicals than I have to.
