looking for tips on frugal but healthy grocery ideas.
Which groceries last longest in the fridge?
Most versatile item? (can make the most things with)
Any clever ideas on groceries you can come up with....
I'm kinda new to the "buying my own groceries" ('cause I tend to go out to eat a lot)
Thanks :)

Like at subway or something. They wrap them so nice looking. But when I eat only half and want to save the other half for later, I have trouble re-wrapping the sub in the wax paper stuff. There must be some neat technique for this.

Has anyone learned how to do this?

I, myself, usually have anything that you put in a toaster, pour milk on, or stick a spoon in. (Besides my cat.)

I have relatives coming who drink just regular brewed coffee and I would like to know a sure brand that generally goes over well with most people. I'm not a coffee drinker.

Cooks and mothers both say that if you use just 1/2 of a canned food you are supposed to store it in a different container. Not just put foil over the can and put it in the fridge.
Why?
So if you have 1/2 a can of beans or spaghetti sauce left over, why can't you just leave it in the can?

I am almost 15 wks pregnant and last night I ate a medium cooked steak so was quite pink in the middle. I know guidelines advise you not to but it was delicious and I can't eat it well done! I have researched this and alot of info says its fine as long as its not 'ground' meat.
Now this morning I am worrying a bit as I have had diarrhoea and vomited (although nothing came up). will I have harmed my baby or is it just me who is ill?

I know this sounds like a weird question, but I've been thinking about it for awhile. I don't think I've known one girl or woman in my life who likes milk. Why is this? All the women I know hate milk. It really seems that they should at least try to like milk since women are usually the ones that get osteoperosis. Are we men the only ones who appreciate this delicious beverage?! I wish I could speak cow so I could thank all the cows whose milk I have drank over the years. I'm serious, I love milk and want to find some women that love it too!

This is assuming that they laid eggs, as well as having calves the old-fashioned way.
So that if you JUST wanted eggs, you wouldn't be needing the bull.(No pun intended.)
