Is eating a lot of healthy, nutritious food better than eating little of non-nutritious food?

Just wondering; the idea popped into my head a day ago while cutting up some carrots ;)

-and I'm not talking slight differences in amounts, I was thinking more along the lines of if you basically starved yourself with like four grapes a day against eating all the vegetables/fruits/dairy/whatever you'd like.

I bought the chicken on Thursday and it is now Saturday. I just made a pasta dish with it, and my general rule of thumb is that once cooked meats (poultry, beef, pork) are good for another two days. (Possibly a little conservative I know.) I am thrown by the rotisserie chicken though because it was cooked on Thursday. How many more days do you think I can eat the pasta dish, if any?

I'm not willing to spend nearly $900 on an All-Clad set of pots and pans, but I want quality. As long as the metal used says 18/10 and it is heavy, do you think its all about the same? I definately don't want non-stick. What is your opinion.

We have tried to add kosher salt but it didn't help. We use lots of cheese but can't keep it smooth. It always seems to clog all the openings in the containers we use for our deli.

I really must apologize straight away because this is an incredibly stupid question.

I was reading a magazine that features a woman who cooks meals whose healthy recipes are designed for those with MS. She makes them all in a Dutch Oven, though - an item I've never heard of.

I've been looking at Dutch Ovens on eBay and in MANY of the ads they say things like "you can use on stove top and in freezer." They do not, however, point out specifically that it can be used INSIDE an oven.

The chef who wrote the article cooks all of her meals in a Dutch Oven IN her oven.

I can cook in a Dutch Oven IN my oven, right?

They're very expensive so I have to make the right choices here.

Thank you!!!

I am tired of paying $3 or so for my morning latte...I would much rather make my own caffeine-filled drink in the am and save that money. I have tried and tried to make a really really good flavor-filled cup of java here at home...I need some suggestions.

I just got my braces on again, so I'm still pretty sore. I'm lactose intolerant, but there is a medicine, so no heavy cheese, but there can be some. I'm also vegetarian.

Specific I know!

Thanks!

I can sit and eat a bowl of ice cream in less than 20 seconds (Not that I actually do that, but it's just an example) and not get a brain freeze. I can drink a full slurpee or however you spell it without getting any brain freezes.

Why is this? Am I retarded or something?

And, what does a brain freeze feel like?

A root beer stand is a type of restaurant (they serve usually short order foods such as hamburgers and fries soups etc {also called a drive-in}) where you drive in the parking lot, and a server (better known as car hops) will take your order right from your car or if you prefer you can also go to a picnic table in the yard. Once your order is taken, they will go inside the building, and wait on other customers, and once your order is ready, they will bring it out to your car with a special tray that can attatch to your window of your car, and you and eat it in your car. Food is usually very good.

I vote for stoopwaffles which I am probably spelling wrong. They are syrup waffles from Holland. Little wafers with caramel holding them together. They sell them at Trader Joe's and I think I've even seen them at Borders on occasion. You can order them from a Dutch food importing company on line. Yum!
