The best way to freeze mushrooms is to cook them first. Your best bet would be to add a tsp of lemon juice to the water & steam them before freezing. Raw mushrooms do no freeze well.

I don't think that mushrooms would hold up being frozen. But you could dry them.

Being a fungus mushrooms are best not kept so that they would retai8n moisture in refrigerator storage. I usually leave them in the original package then lightly keep the original wrap around the container.

No. Mushrooms do not freeze very well unless they are vacuum sealed. You can try it, but my guess is you likely will end up throwing them away, anyway. So you really have nothing to lose for trying.

They will be mushy when they thaw.

they have mushies in mixed veggie bags that you get in the freezer section of the grocery store. so i don't see why not, you might want to put them on a tray or something in the freezer for like an hour or so before stickin' them in a bag in the freezer to prevent a frozen ball o' fungi! good luck!

i think mushrooms are best kept in the fridge in a paper bag. it might be best to use them right away, now. i think they . get mushy in the freezer. theyd still be edible.
