I would say around $50.
I personally would set a limit for the entire party, let my daughter help, and when I reach the limit..... spend just a little bit more!

$100 bucks, I use to work for a bakery and the cake is the most special. There are wonderful things that can be done and its the center of table and of all food items.

first, I wouldn't spoil my child to the point where they expect a spectacular birthday.
And if she is a spoiled girl, you should save the money on the cake and be sure to buy her and extravagant gift otherwise she will hate you forever
