Ok- it's your daughter's 16th birthday....she is expecting a Spectacular bday.... Say the cake is designed especially for her party and is a 2 tier cake(similar to a wedding cake).....what is your $$ limit on the cake?

Since I know you are going to read this(ha-ha) I will say no more than $50... I guess! Because having a spetacular birthday cake may cost you $50. ... Your daughter turning 16 is PRICELESS! ! !

I would say around $50.
I personally would set a limit for the entire party, let my daughter help, and when I reach the limit..... spend just a little bit more!

$100 bucks, I use to work for a bakery and the cake is the most special. There are wonderful things that can be done and its the center of table and of all food items.

first, I wouldn't spoil my child to the point where they expect a spectacular birthday.
And if she is a spoiled girl, you should save the money on the cake and be sure to buy her and extravagant gift otherwise she will hate you forever

probably $256 --- if she asked why, tell her the cake is for 16x suprise, 16x her age as this is her spectacular birthday, sweet sixteen.
