I had this idea to make gum for adults, well you know they have all this real sweet stuff for kids. I wanted to do like a gourmet gum in flavors like blueberry, strawberry shortcake, cherry lemonade, pineapple and have real fruit pieces in the gum(of course they would have to be dried out in some kind of way)......anybody have any ideas??

When Jason (not his name) was 10 I took him to see Lion King live at the Pantages in Hollywood. It was a "take a kid out" night in our Emerg. Response unit. We each took a kid. Jason loved it, and he never stopped dropping by my office. So, I took him on as a really great kid - Pre-teen Jesus I would call him. Also took on the whole family but focus on Jason. He doesn't eat vegetables or fruit. I buy chewable vitamins which he rarely takes. He gets sick frequently because of poor diet. Fast food - chicken nuggets, etc - fries and drink are his diet. Yesterday I substituted the fruit cup at McD's for fries. Told him I would get him fries when he finished the fruit. He tasted the apple slices like he had never had them before. He got through it and I got him a small fries.
Any of you out there have a suggestion on how to get him to find that fruit is great and veggies, if prepared well, are cool. Parents? Teenagers? What do you suggest I do next, how to approach.

Drinking water as always bothered me. I pretty much have to force myself to do it. Squeezing lemons into the water help a little, but it is hard to keep them around all the time, since they mold so quickly. Any ideas?

Throw me what you think of. The tea shop would be set up like a Starbuck's--where tea is served as a freshly-made drink or you can buy tea to take home and enjoy at your own leisure. It would feature a wide variety of teas for all tastes.

Hi, Now accepting all possible opinions on this sumptuous, calorie and fat rich breakfast:
* Two eggs, white toast with butter, bacon
* 2 pancakes with syrup
All washed with endless cups of hot decaf, sugarless coffee.
And today's paper.
Would you also like to have this breakfast once a week? Is this your idea of enjoying life?

When I was young (during World War II) we had horse meat more often than we could get beef. The last time I had it was in Tonopah Nevada about 1980. I sortof like it. Why all the fuss about it being shipped overseas? Is it 'Bamby" syndrome?
