Gas prices, and we have to cover the price of ice cream that the ice cream distributor has to pay.
I think you would be better off buying some ice cream at the store, 1 pint of ice cream probably cost's as much as 1 or 2 ice cream bars the ice cream truck would sell you.

It's all a case of supply and demand. The vendor will want to make as best a living for himself as he / she can. If he charges more, people will stop buying his ice creams, if he charges less, his profits will drop to such a degree that it wouldn't be worth his while.

What are you going to do? walk to the store. It's all about supply and demand. What kid can say no to the Ice Cream Truck. It's not that they are going to scope out the competition. Why do you think food at the Airport is so expensive. You gonna get your food somewehere else?

Because they can. They know you'll pay almost anything to get the kids to shut up when they hear the ice cream truck.

you been to the gas pump latley ?? and then you got the guy acctually cruising around trying to make a buck ........I mean he has to be a buck higher than a store or he wont make it , plus hes out front of the house so its an impulse buy ,my kid hears the ice cream truck , it dont matter if its five bucks at that point he is getting one ........

y do u think 4 sum strange reason they all ways show up wen its ovr 80 degrees? its because wen ur outside all u can think about is water but ur 2 lazy to go insidde and get some and suddenly a maricle happens and a icecream truck shows up. all u can think about is something nice and cold, not how much money it costs u.

Gas prices mostly..and operating costs aren't exactly cheap, they are, however, trying to generate a profit instead of a loss.
