Eh, canned food freaks me out in general, canned veggies anyway. Go with frozen spinach. It's easier to store once you've opened the bag and it's cheaper.

I think this is just a very clever marketing ploy to raise the "household" name status of spinach. Seriously, if it wasn't for the recent news would we even be writing about it? I haven't eaten spinach since I was in a high chair.

Canned spinach should be good. Just stay away from the fresh bagged spinach.

I could never imagine anything worse than canned spinach. It has nothing to do with the manure bacteria outbreak. I never even liked it fresh. Sorry I just tried to imagine worse and my brain turned bad over canned broccoli.

Fresh is better. Canned spinach doesn't give you big muscles either. But opening cans with your hands will.

Canned spinach is nasty by itself. In recipes I can hide the taste. I also hate canned new potatoes, beets, carrots, and asparagus. I only eat them fresh!

fresh spinach is alway better but don't expect to have a jackhammer forearm or something like that.
remember to have a pipe handy as well!
