sounds like a hearty breakfaast. nothing wrong with splurging once in a while and giving urself a treat.
but u can consider substituting white bread with whole bread and butter with low fat margerine. this will make u save on a considerable amount of calories. also a little saving goes a long way ;-) the wheat bread will keep u feeling fuller for a longer span of time.
also how about adding a fruit or a bit of veggie to this menu? or u could skip lunch after this huge breakfast and just opt for a light salad or fruit.
this will help u balance out ur calorie in take too.
so go ahead and enjoy ur yummy breakfast!

That is the perfect meal, except I would go with perfectly seasoned hashbrowns and sourdough toast with real butter and home made strawberry jam or blackberry preserves.
Yes, it might add chlosterol to my blood, but if I ate bran and fruit and Kashi at every meal, I would live to be 100, and spend 50 of it in the bathroom and the other 50 thinking about real food
As long as you eat a balanced, healthy diet, you should ENJOY food. Food should be more than fuel, it should be a joy.
We are omnivores people, and Goddess bless eggs - with the yolk all nice and runny, perfectly made bacon, hot coffee and real food!
I'm not a rabbit!

I'm more of a two fried eggs with crispy bacon and american cheese on a roll kinda girl. pancakes are awesome. but i'm more of a half/caf flavored creamer for washing down. That's enjoying life! Damn cholesterol keeps me from having it too much though, booooooo.

I like your breakfast, its huge, but I would eat it on a Sunday and skip lunch, every Sunday we go out for breakfast at this great restaurant, same people are there week after week its such a cosy tradition. We eat a similar breakfast and pig out, it makes up for all the other hurried breakfasts all week long.

Nah... no deal... lol.
If i'm going to spurge on a hi-cal hi-carb breakfast, this is what i'm going to have:
3 egg omlette with cheddar, mushrooms & sauted onions.
No meat ( vegetarian )
an "ET" bagle with cream cheese
Side of Nova ( smoked salmon )
Home fries ( the real good kind with onioins )
Decaf
Oj
That's about it... lol.

Your breakfast sounds pretty good....But......I prefer 2 Poached eggs over Rye bread..A banana, Cranberry juice, and then 2 pieces of dark chocolate!
I would also like to have someone bring it to me, after I've had a nice warm bubble bath! :~)
That's my idea of enjoying life!

Sounds good, except I would have heavily peppered slab bacon, no maple syrup (blueberry or strawberry), and espresso roast with plenty of cream and sugar. I'm getting a heart attack typing this!

Nothing wrong with a high fat, high cal, high cholesterol breakfast. It's the American way. But you need lessons in coffee consumption.
