can anyone tell me why beef like hamburgh or steaks last longer on a store shelf than in your fridge is it the light? they are in light at the store and in the dark in your fridge. tell me why.

I saw this on a commercial not too long ago. I want to do a bake sale for my son's school that has a halloween theme. And this commercial had a website you could go to that had rice crispy treats in a halloween them but it wasn't Kellogg's cereal it was Post Pebbles I believe. Can you help?

The crates are red, 18.5" x 12.5" x 4.5". There are no dividers it's an open crate. These crates fit 24 bottles. The bottle size is 20 oz. I have searched everywhere. I have two but want ten more.
