These are on every large bottle I buy (this is Michigan, USA) whether it's milk, orange juice, apple juice, lemonade...

The round indents are right in the middle of one or two of the sides, about 3 inch diameter, but indents in diffent bottles very in depth from zero to one inch. Cross section: \___/ (cone sides with flat base).

I've wanted to know for ages and I can't think of a good reason for them - I thought initailly to do with manufacturing process of the bottle... but there would be better ways to add stiffness, and does not explain the varying depths.

There must have a good answer!

My friend and I are having a discussion about the best way to keep carbonation in a two liter bottle of soda.

Method #1: Squeeze all the air out of the bottle prior to putting on the cap to create a vacuum.

Method #2: Keep the bottle fully expanded prior to putting on the cap to create pressure so the carbonation can’t escape.

If so, what states? Because I have never seen it in Indiana. Of course Indiana is 20 years behind the rest of the country when it comes to culture, fashion, and fads.

When I lived in Miami I loved to drink Cuban coffee; I have never been able to replicate it with my espresso machine, even when I still lived there and was able to find the right coffee at the supermarket. Could someone enlighten me as to how to make it taste like it did at those little walk-up cafes in Miami?

ok - Here's the beef: you have to WORK at data entry just to get the points into the system. It takes hours to get the work done. Sounds like you are all spending valuable time to make low wage in prizes.

My wife tried to get a subscription and the website asked for a credit card instead of rewards points. No responses to email and when you call coke, they tell you to call fulfillment, when you call them you get "mailbox is full" messages on the voicemail.

Is this worth it?

I preferred the "bad old taste".

I bet they've lowered the calories (mmm calories) becuase of that dam Jamie Oliver and those fat lazy kids he loves so much.

I can't believe they've ruined my favorite non alcoholic beverage.

Does anyone prefer the new taste?
