I had a friend who was addicted to it - I think it's because it's so high in caffeine

Yes, if they aren't careful. My little brother Steven Thompson is addicted to Mountain Dew b/c of the taste. He can't leave it in the frige. I sometimes drink Mountain Dew if I'm thirsty.

I guess anyone can get addicted to anything, just like people gets addicted to gambling, and video games, and the internet, and yahoo games, and beer, and chocolate........So why not Mountain Dew?

yeah it is true that people get addicted to mountain dew. i did witch sucks because now i have a cavity in every tooth now which sucks i always have a tooth ack

You can become addicted to most anything if you have enough of it. It gets into your system like any drug, smoking, etc. and then you think you need it all the time.

I think people can get addicted to anything---im addicted to Coca Cola and i cant stop--I have lowered my consumption but still cant be with out it

no they just like mt dew. you can get headaches if you all of the sudden stop drinking caffeine.
