I'm drinking between 2 and 3 litres of tonic water a day. I'm hooked on the stuff, and have been for a few years now, but recently I've heard you can get quinnine poisoning if you drinkl too much of it. Does anybody know if this is true, and how the condition manifests itself?

OK, maybe I'm still trapped in the mid-20th century, but here goes. I love drinking pop out of glass bottles, especially the thick 16 ounce deposit bottles I haven't been able to get for years. Of course, these days I'm drinking Diet Pepsi, but I'd still like to it in those bottles. I'm willing to drive at least 6 hours from Chicago to find it, but the local bottler had no idea of anyone still making them. Is there a bottler in the midwest that still sells them (heck, I might even move to Diet Coke if that were in thick glass bottles), or a place farther away that ships?

rang the water board - they said it was the kettle, changed the kettle, they said it was the tea bags, changed the tea bags, they said it was the dishwasher leaving soap residue, i didnt change the dishwasher lol, but i washed the cup out throughly with clean water - still the scum ! yuck its got to be the water Right ?

Coke could be any common carbonized drink i.e. Pepsi, Dr. Pepper and juice drink should only refers to 100% natural juice, OJ, Grapefruit, pineapple etc. excluding things like sunny delight.

When you pour coca cola in a glass of ice and it has a lot of fizz... why does putting your finger in it make the fizz go away so fast? Also, have you ever seen bartenders put a finger in a glass as they are pouring/dispencing coke?

It has caffeine, it is addicting, it is bad for you and the nervous system.
